Lisa Brown was a contemporary Canadian painting dynamo! Named “The fastest female painter in the world,” this little ball of energy, with gusto and determination, took the European art scene by storm from the 80s until her death July 2001. Lisa was the only Canadian artist to have been invited to paint on the Berlin Wall. Her painting on the wall remains to this day and will be incorporated into a new “Ministry of the Environment” building to be completed this September .
Lisa Left us with an amazing catalogue of completed works that we are offering here as limited edition Giclee prints in a variety of sizes.
Part of the proceeds from this gallery funds the Lisa Brown Memorial Grant, awarded to a student who will attend the Florence Off-Campus Studies Program at The Ontario Collage of Art and Design in Toronto. Lisa Browns’ Alma Mater.
We hope to showcase and sell some of the work these talented recipients of the “Lisa Brown Memorial grant” have produced both in original and print form.
